When configuring Tableau Cloud to use Salesforce as a SAML Identity Provider (IdP), the SAML login fails due to a duplicate Entity ID used in both the Connected App and the External Client App within Salesforce.
The Identity Provider Event Log (Setup > Quick Find > Identity Provider Event Log) in Salesforce displays the following error message:"Error: External client app or its SAML plugin is disabled"
Re-configure SAML setting again to use different Entity ID
