Buyer Relationship Map: Department Groups and Seniority Levels Cannot Be Customized

The Buyer Relationship Map includes predefined values for Department Groups and Seniority Levels that help categorize and organize stakeholders across your accounts. These values are fixed and cannot be modified.

Department Groups

The Department Groups available in the Buyer Relationship Map are set by Salesforce and cannot be changed. Specifically:

  • You cannot edit existing Department Group values.
  • You cannot add new Department Group values.
  • You cannot delete existing Department Group values.

Seniority Levels

The Seniority Levels available in the Buyer Relationship Map are set by Salesforce and cannot be changed. Specifically:

  • You cannot edit existing Seniority Level values.
  • You cannot add new Seniority Level values.
  • You cannot delete existing Seniority Level values.
解決策

Because Department Groups and Seniority Levels are fixed, ensure that your team uses the existing values consistently when assigning stakeholders in the Buyer Relationship Map.


If the available values don't meet your business needs, consider using other Contact fields to capture custom categorization outside of the Buyer Relationship Map.
