Marketing Cloud Engagement: Changing the Administrator Email Address for Domain SSL Certificate After Initial Configuration

Description

The administrator email address entered during the "Protect Domain" configuration for domain SSL certificates is used for internal system management purposes only. A change button that previously existed in the UI has been removed, and there is no way to change the address after it is set. Because the system does not send email notifications to this address, you can continue operating with the currently configured address without issue.

Resolution
■ Why the Administrator Email Address Cannot Be Changed
The button to change the administrator email address was removed from the UI in a past release. This change was made in response to the fact that the feature was never used.

■ Impact on Current Operations
  • The system no longer sends email notifications to this address.
  • SSL certificate expiration alerts and DNS configuration alerts are not delivered to the configured address.
  • Continuing to operate with the current address presents no functional or security issues.
