ITSM:List view sharing for Unified Employee License Users

Unlike customer community plus user licenses where sharing a list view with 'All Customer Portal Users' public groups which would allow CCP user to access the list view in portal, Unified Employee License Users do not fall under this standard out-of-the box public group.

To share the list view with Unified Employee License Users refer the below outlined steps.

Løsning

In-order to extend the access to a list, we would need to create a public group and add the 'All Restricted Employee Users' public group in the selected members section.

  1. Under setup, navigate to Public groups.
  2. Click on the 'New' button and create a public group. You may name it as 'All UEL Users'.
  3. Change the search to 'Public Groups' and move the 'All Restricted Employee Users' public group to the selected members section.
  4. Save the changes.
  5. Navigate to the list view and in the sharing settings, select the Share list view with groups of users' type of sharing 
  6. Select the 'All UEL Users' public group and save the changes.

This way the Unified Employee License Users shall gain access to list view on the portal.
