Financial Services Cloud: Finserv__Household__c Field Not Populating on Lead Record

Publish Date: Jul 14, 2026
Description

In Financial Services Cloud (FSC), the Finserv__Household__c field on a Lead stores a reference to the associated Household Account. Under certain conditions, the field may remain blank after a Lead is created, even when the related AccountContactRelation record is configured to include Leads and Referrals in its rollup options.

The Finserv__Household__c field is populated by Financial Services Cloud managed package logic during Lead processing. The value is calculated based on the FSC group record rollup framework and the Lead's relationship to a Contact or Account. If the required group record rollup settings are not enabled, the Household relationship is not designated as the primary group, or the rollup scope does not include Leads and Referrals, the Household reference is not populated.

In some configurations, the calculation depends on the Finserv__ReferredByContact__c field being populated so that the managed package can determine the appropriate Household.

Resolution

To populate the Finserv__Household__c field, verify the Financial Services Cloud group record rollup configuration, the Household relationship settings, and the Lead's related Contact reference.

Verify the group record rollup configuration

The Financial Services Cloud group record rollup framework must be enabled before Household information can be populated on Lead records.

  1. Navigate to Setup > Custom Settings.
  2. Open Wealth Application Configuration (FinServ__WealthAppConfig__c).
  3. Verify that Enable Group Record Rollups is enabled.
  4. Confirm that the Household relationship for the primary Contact has the Primary Group field set to True.
  5. Verify that Activities & Objects to Roll Up includes Leads and Referrals.

Verify the AccountContactRelation configuration

The AccountContactRelation record must be configured correctly for Household rollups.

  1. Open the AccountContactRelation record that links the Contact to the Household Account.
  2. Verify that the rollup configuration includes Leads and Referrals.
  3. Save the AccountContactRelation record if changes were made so the configuration is updated.
  4. Note: Configuring the AccountContactRelation record alone does not populate the Household field unless the group record rollup framework is also enabled.

Verify the Lead references a related Contact

The managed package determines the Household based on the Lead's relationship to a Contact.

  1. Open the Lead record.
  2. Populate the Finserv__ReferredByContact__c field with the appropriate Contact, if applicable.
  3. Save the Lead.
  4. Verify whether the Finserv__Household__c field is populated.

Depending on the Financial Services Cloud configuration, the Finserv__ReferredByContact__c field may provide the relationship required for the managed package to determine the appropriate Household.

Verify field visibility

If the field has been populated but is not visible, verify the field configuration.

  1. Navigate to Setup > Object Manager > Lead > Fields & Relationships.
  2. Open Household (Finserv__Household__c).
  3. Verify that field-level security grants visibility to the appropriate users.
  4. Confirm that the field is included on the Lead page layout.
