This document explains the specification for IP allowlist settings when connecting to the Salesforce Platform using Marketing Cloud Connect. Following security enhancements in Marketing Cloud Engagement, Hyperforce IP addresses are automatically allowed by the system. Administrators no longer need to manually register IP ranges, maintaining safe and seamless cross-product integration.
Overview
When using Marketing Cloud Connect (MCC) in environments where the Salesforce Platform runs on Hyperforce, administrators previously had to manually configure IP addresses in the Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE) IP allowlist if MCE uses “Log Violation and Deny Access” (blocking mode). The specification has been updated so that Hyperforce IP addresses are automatically allowed on the MCE side.
Details of Specification Change
Due to updated security requirements on the MCE side, all Hyperforce-related IP addresses are now subject to automatic allowlisting. This update reduces the operational burden on administrators by eliminating the need for manual IP address updates.
Automatically Allowed IP Addresses
All IP addresses listed in the following official documentation and JSON file are covered by automatic allowlisting:
