Document Builder Images Missing for Community Users in Field Service Mobile App

Community users are unable to view images embedded in a Service Document when generating or previewing it in the Field Service Mobile (FSM) app. The same document displays images correctly in the desktop experience and for admin users.

The issue is specific to Experience Cloud community users accessing Document Builder through the FSM app. Images appear missing or broken during Service Document generation or preview on mobile, while the document renders correctly on desktop.

The root cause is a missing Trusted URL configuration for the community site. Image assets are blocked from loading in the FSM app until the site URL is added to both the Site Builder Content Security Policy (CSP) and the Trusted URLs settings in Setup.

Résolution

Add the Experience Cloud community site URL to both the Site Builder Content Security Policy (CSP) and the Trusted URLs configuration in Setup. Both entries are required — adding only one does not resolve the issue.

Step 1: Add the Community Site URL to Site Builder CSP

  1. Navigate to Setup > All Sites > [Your Site] > Builder > Settings > Security & Privacy > Content Security Policy (CSP).
  2. Click Add Trusted Site.
  3. Enter the community site URL. Use the format that matches your environment:
    • Production org: https://<your-community-name>.my.site.com/s
    • Sandbox org: https://<your-community-name>--<sandbox-name>.sandbox.my.site.com/s
  4. Save the changes.
  5. Click Publish to publish the updated site.

Step 2: Add the Community Site URL to Trusted URLs in Setup

  1. Navigate to Setup > Trusted URLs.
  2. Click New Trusted URL.
  3. Enter the same community site URL used in Step 1 (production or sandbox format as appropriate).
  4. Save the configuration.

Step 3: Refresh the Field Service Mobile App

  1. Log out of the Field Service Mobile app.
  2. Log back in.

After logging back in, community users can view images in Service Documents generated or previewed in the FSM app.
