This article provides resources to help learners complete hands-on superbadge challenges on Trailhead. It includes challenge-specific resources, troubleshooting techniques, and links to Salesforce documentation and Trailhead learning to support successful completion of these technical assessments.
Superbadges assess your understanding and ability to apply key concepts, tools, and methodologies in a hands-on practice environment. These technical assessments bridge the gap between what you’ve learned and how you can apply those skills in real-world scenarios. Completing a superbadge shows your ability to work on Salesforce implementations, demonstrates your expertise, and can help with certification preparation.
Badges introduce you to specific topics in bite-sized units, sometimes combining short lessons with hands-on practice through step-by-step instructions. Superbadges present the requirements in a narrative format with multiple hands-on challenges. Trailblazers need to complete the challenges by configuring a technical solution in a special Salesforce Developer Edition org. Read more about how the Salesforce Program Agreement applies to superbadges.
This superbadge is designed for Trailblazers who have foundational knowledge of Agentforce Service Agent and the Salesforce Platform. You should be comfortable configuring a Service Agent using the new Agentforce Builder and understand how to customize an agent to meet business requirements. You should know how to update Prompt Templates, configure and test agent actions, and use Flows to support customer service processes, including routing and escalation to human agents.
If you've completed the recommended learning and are ready to apply these skills to real-world scenarios without step-by-step guidance, you're in the right place! This hands-on challenge takes about an hour to complete and will test your ability to translate business requirements into a fully configured Agentforce Service Agent that delivers effective customer experiences.
Each superbadge includes recommended learning. Complete the recommended learning for each superbadge to prepare for the superbadge challenges. This is the best way to prepare for the concepts that are tested.
Make sure you’re using the org specified to complete the challenges. For this superbadge, Agentforce Service Agents, please use this page to sign up for the special Developer Edition org with the configuration you need to pass the challenges.
Superbadges focus on specific learning objectives, so not every best practice or implementation step is validated as part of each challenge. Some steps, however, are required for the challenge to validate successfully. For example, Luna must be activated in Agentforce Studio before the challenge can be completed successfully. Other recommended practices, such as adding reasoning instructions or testing the agent with representative scenarios, help ensure the agent behaves as intended but aren't validated as part of the challenge.
There are no specific accessibility notes for this superbadge. If you encounter accessibility issues with the content, use the resources provided in the Get help with this badge widget on the superbadge page.
This superbadge tests your ability to configure an Agentforce Service Agent equipped with data sources to resolve customer requests and escalate to a human agent for more complex inquiries. To successfully prepare your org for agents, you must first verify that Einstein Setup is turned on. Once the foundational Einstein features are active, you must explicitly enable Agentforce.
When configuring your agent in Agentforce Studio, ensure that the agent Luna uses the existing EinsteinServiceAgent user.
Because you're building this agent from the Agentforce Service Agent template, the builder will automatically generate a list of default subagents. You must carefully review this list and delete the out-of-scope subagents.
If you accidentally delete the wrong subagents, you should delete the agent and recreate the agent using the Agentforce Service Agent template.
If you receive the error: "We can't find the most recent version of the agent 'Luna'. Make sure to use the special org made for this superbadge, commit, and activate the version you want us to check."
Verify that you're working in the special superbadge org and that your latest changes to Luna have been saved, committed, and activated in Agentforce Studio. Changes made to the agent aren't available for validation until the latest version has been committed and activated.
If you run into a sync delay where the checker fails to detect your active agent, wait a moment for the metadata changes to propagate in your org, or temporarily deactivate and reactivate Luna in Agentforce Studio to reset the status.
Note on Builder Syncing: When modifying the default list of subagents, you may see temporary metadata warnings. Simply save your work, refresh the screen, and confirm your changes are saved. Remember that your configurations to Luna aren't fully committed or available for validation until the latest version is explicitly committed and activated.
The Coral Cloud FAQ Answer From Document and Coral Cloud FAQ Intent Router prompt templates are pre-configured in your special Developer Edition org. Only modify these existing templates—do not rename or delete them. If you accidentally delete either template, you must sign up for a new special Developer Edition org. After updating, ensure both templates are saved and activated so they are accessible to Luna.
For both of the prompt templates, you will need to ensure the guest question input resource is properly added to the prompt.
When configuring the Coral Cloud FAQ Intent Router, it is critical that your Decision Output Names match the exact requirements. The system will look specifically for FILM_FESTIVAL, RESORT_POLICIES, and UNCLEAR. Missing any of these output names will result in an error.
If you accidentally delete the General FAQ subagent, you can search for and re-add it from the Agentforce Asset Library.
Delete the current default FAQ action, specifically removing the "Answer Questions with Knowledge" subagent/action.
When adding the new action to the General FAQ subagent, you must name it exactly ‘Answer FAQ From PDF’. Make sure the Reference Action Type is set to Flow and that it correctly points to the Coral Cloud FAQ reference action.
As with all agent builder updates, your changes will only be verified if the agent is active. Make sure you save your action configuration and confirm that Luna is activated before attempting to check your work.
When creating the Booking Management Subagent, if a "Subagent Overlap Detected" warning message pops up, you can safely select Ignore.
To resolve a duplicate error, review the list of subagents or actions in the Agentforce Asset Library to identify and delete any redundant records.
Take a look at the booking records in the Coral Cloud Resorts app before writing agent action instructions.
When saving new custom actions or adjusting subagent routing instructions, the builder may flag temporary errors. As with all agentforce studio updates, your changes will only be verified if the agent is active. Make sure you save your action configuration and confirm that Luna is activated before attempting to check your work.
Subagent reasoning instructions help define how the agent should behave and respond when handling requests within its assigned scope. They are an important best practice for creating a consistent and reliable agent experience. Use the business requirements and instructions provided in the challenge to guide the subagent's behavior and responses. Although reasoning instructions aren't validated as part of this challenge, adding them is recommended to help ensure the agent performs as intended.
Before adding the Embedded Messaging component to the coral-cloud site (Experience Cloud Site), publish the coral-cloud site and the ESA Web Deployment (Embedded Service Deployment).
While activating the agent if you notice the error "Agentforce Version cannot be activated. Agentforce services are still being provisioned for this organization.", toggle the Agentforce setting and try again.
If multiple versions of the Route to ESA flow exist, ensure the correct version is active. Creating a new flow version does not automatically activate it, and the challenge validation may evaluate an older active version instead of your most recent updates.
When updating the Route to ESA Omni-Channel flow so that guest conversations route to agent Luna, you must save your changes as a new version and explicitly activate that latest version.
As a reminder, a superbadge is a great way for you to assess your skills and knowledge and work on your problem-solving abilities. You'll get the most value by working hard to figure things out on your own. However, if you get stuck, you're welcome to reach out to the Trailblazer community. You can also help fellow Trailblazers who are stuck in a challenge, just remember that your superbadge org and solutions should never be shared.
