The issue is under investigation in W-23451422. This issue is localized to specific machine environments and is likely related to how Tableau Desktop 2025.3 and later versions when directly launching a .twbx file via double-click.
Please try to use one of the following options:
.twbx file.
Unpack or save the affected .twbx file as a standard .twb file. Double-clicking a .twb file completely resolves the issue, and Viz in Tooltip displays normally.
If possible, use Tableau Desktop version 2025.3.4 or earlier (e.g., version 2025.2.5), which does not exhibit this behavior.
