When an OmniScript is placed on an Experience Cloud site that contains Select, Multi-Select, or Radio elements configured to populate their options using a Callable Apex class, the option values are generated during the OmniScript activation and cached by the platform.
The values are obtained during the OmniScript activation. Since the values are generated and cached at activation time, any user-specific information returned by the Callable Apex class reflects the user who activated the OmniScript rather than the currently logged-in Experience Cloud user.
As a result, when the OmniScript is accessed by portal or Experience Cloud users, the Select, Multi-Select, or Radio elements continue to display values generated during activation instead of values based on the current user's session. This behavior is working as designed.
This behavior is working as designed and cannot be changed when using a Callable Apex class as the Custom Apex Option Source with Select, Multi-Select, or Radio elements.
