The Signature Success plan’s Proactive Monitoring product will monitor for, and alert you about Agent Rate Limit Errors when a high percentage of your org’s AI requests are being rate-limited (throttled) because usage has exceeded the limits provisioned for your org.
If you receive an alert from the Proactive Monitoring service related to this metric, it indicates that a significant share of your Agentforce requests are being rejected before reaching the AI model. End users may see agent responses fail, time out, or take longer than usual.
Resolution:
Here are some common practices & resources that may help to resolve issues related to this alert:
Review any recently created or modified agents for looping behavior.
An agent topic or action that repeatedly calls itself, or aggressive retry logic in a custom integration, can rapidly consume your org’s request allowance.
If the increase in errors began right after an agent change was deployed, consider deactivating or rolling back that change to see if the errors stop.
Review your recent Agentforce usage and consumption.
If your usage has grown due to legitimate business volume (for example, a new agent launch or seasonal traffic), contact your Salesforce account team to review your limits and capacity.
If neither of the above applies, consider this as an issue on the Salesforce side.
You will be notified through your support case as the issue is investigated and when the service is restored.
