This article helps you resolve the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) Data Integrity app authorization failure that appears after a sandbox refresh.
When you open the Data Integrity app settings and click Authorize, you receive the notification:
Something's missing. Hmm, that didn't work.
and the app does not connect to the backend service.
Trigger condition: a sandbox refresh (or a My Domain change) after which the Remote Site Setting URL and the API Endpoint custom metadata record still reference the old org endpoint, causing OAuth authentication to fail.
This affects administrators authorizing the Data Integrity app. The account performing the authorization needs the Customize Application and Manage Auth. Providers permissions.
Customers describe this as:
Follow these steps in order to correct the endpoint configuration and reauthorize the Data Integrity app after a sandbox refresh.
yourdomain--sandboxname.sandbox.my.salesforce.com.https://yourdomain--sandboxname.sfdo-insights.sfdc.sh (replace yourdomain--sandboxname with your actual My Domain prefix from step 1). Set Active to checked. Click Save.Confirm resolution: Open the Data Integrity app, click Reauthorize, and verify the authorization completes without the "Something's missing. Hmm, that didn't work." notification and the app loads data.
