Certification Maintenance Notifications — What to Expect

 

Salesforce sends email reminders before each certification maintenance deadline. Learn when notifications are sent, where they go, and what to do if you didn't receive yours.

 

When Salesforce Sends Notifications

  • Reminder 1: 60 days before the deadline

  • Reminder 2: 30 days before the deadline

  • Reminder 3: 7 days before the deadline

  • Reminder 4: The week of the deadline (Tuesday through Thursday). The actual deadline for the badge to be completed is on Friday.

 

Where Notifications Are Sent

Notifications go to the email address on file in your Trailhead Academy account — this may differ from your Trailhead login email.

 

How to Verify or Update Your Notification Email

1. Log in to trailheadacademy.com 

2. Go to your Trailhead Academy Account, which is located under your profile image in the top-right corner of your screen.

3. Review and update the email address on file.

 

If You Missed a Deadline Because You Didn't Receive a Notification

Open a support case and explain the circumstances and attach any relevant supporting documentation. Updating your address does not retroactively restore an expired certification.
