Troubleshoot common problems when rescheduling your Salesforce certification exam through Pearson VUE.
The reschedule option is only available within the reschedule window:
Online-proctored: at least 24 hours before your exam (not 1 business day)
Testing center: at least 48 hours before your exam (not 2 business days)
If the option is greyed out, you are outside the allowed window.
See Salesforce Certification Exam Reschedule and Cancellation Policy for window details and fees.
1. Clear your browser cache and try again.
2. Switch to a different browser (Chrome or Firefox — not Safari or Edge).
3. Try from a different device or network.
4. If the error persists, contact Pearson VUE support: pearsonvue.com/salesforce.
1. Check your spam or junk folder.
2. Log in to your Pearson VUE account and confirm the new exam date shows under your upcoming appointments.
3. If the new date is not confirmed in your Pearson account, the reschedule may not have saved — try again.
4. If you still cannot receive emails, contact Pearson VUE to verify the email address on your account.
Reschedule fees apply when rescheduling within the fee window. If you believe a fee was charged in error (e.g. due to a Pearson system outage), submit a Salesforce Support case with the Agent through Salesforce Help. Include the following:
Your exam appointment ID
The date and time of the reschedule attempt
A description of what happened
