Deployment Validation Fails with "Invalid field: SOLUTION.ISSUE in related list: RelatedSolutionList"

Description
When deploying a Case Page Layout that includes a Solution related list as part of a larger deployment (bundled with other metadata components), the deployment fails during validation with the following error:
Invalid field: SOLUTION.ISSUE in related list: RelatedSolutionList
Résolution
Deploy the Case Page Layout containing the Solution related list independently, separate from other metadata components.

Steps:
  1. Isolate the Case Page Layout from the rest of the deployment package.
  2. Deploy the Case Page Layout on its own (as a standalone deployment).
  3. Deploy the remaining components separately.
This approach avoids the validation conflict triggered by the legacy Solution object.

  • The Solution object is in a Pre-EOD (End of Development) state — no engineering fixes will be provided.
  • Customers are advised to consider removing the Solution related list from their Case Page Layout if the Solution feature is no longer in use.
