Experience Delivery (Beta) for Lightning Web Runtime sites is discontinued as of October 2026. Experience Delivery is an Experience Cloud feature that offered a new infrastructure for hosting LWR sites to boost site scalability and performance.
Why are we retiring Experience Delivery (Beta)?
Salesforce wants to focus development on resources to help you create web apps more easily with Agentforce Vibes, which provides good runtime performance. This change in our focus led to us to the decision to discontinue the beta.
What does this change mean for me?
As of October 2026, when you publish a site that was previously hosted on Experience Delivery, the site is automatically migrated to our standard LWR infrastructure.
What happens if I don’t take action?
Beginning in Winter ’27, If you have a published site that’s hosted on Experience Delivery and you don’t republish it, the site is still available, but its performance can degrade over time.
How do I identify affected users?
