Action Menu Dropdown Hidden Behind Utility Bar Footer – Unable to Access Lower Menu Options on Lightning Record Page

Data pubblicazione: Jul 29, 2026
Descrizione

On a Lightning Record Page, when a large number of actions are configured in the Highlights Panel or when the browser zoom level exceeds the standard 100% (typically becoming more pronounced at 150%–170% depending on screen size) - the action menu dropdown may extend beyond the visible viewport and become obscured by the Utility Bar pinned at the bottom of the screen.

When a user clicks the Actions button (or overflow action menu), a dropdown list of available actions is displayed. If the list is long enough due to a high number of configured actions, or if the reduced effective viewport height caused by higher browser zoom levels pushes the dropdown downward, the lower action items become visually hidden behind the Utility Bar footer and cannot be clicked or accessed via standard interaction.

This is a known limitation of the current Lightning Experience rendering model.

Reproduction Steps :

  1. Open a Lightning Record Page (e.g., an Account, Case, or Opportunity record).
  2. Condition:
    - The record page has a large number of actions configured in the Highlights Panel (typically 10 or more visible actions).
    - OR the browser zoom level is set to 150% or higher.
  3. Click the Actions dropdown button on the record.
  4. Observe that the bottom portion of the dropdown list is hidden behind the Utility Bar and cannot be accessed.

Risoluzione
Workaround:

Reset browser zoom to 100% (or the recommended zoom range) to fully view all dropdown menu options.
