Font Changes Made in Modify Quote Terms Are Not Reflected in Quote Documents

Publish Date: Aug 5, 2026
Description

When a user modifies the font (e.g., font family, size, or style) of quote terms text using the "Modify Quote Terms" option in CPQ, the formatting change is not applied to the resulting quote document. The quote document continues to display the original/default font instead of the updated one.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to a Quote record in Salesforce CPQ.
  2. Click Modify Quote Terms (or access quote terms from the quote document template).
  3. Select text within the quote terms editor.
  4. Change the font family, size, or style using the formatting toolbar.
  5. Save the changes and generate/preview the quote document.

    Expected Result:

The quote document reflects the updated font formatting applied in the Modify Quote Terms editor.

    Actual Result:
The quote document displays the original font — no font change is applied, regardless of the formatting selected.

Resolution
This is a Known Issue in Salesforce CPQ. There is currently no workaround available.
