            Allow or Remove Access to MCP Tools

            Add and remove MCP tools from your allowlist to manage access.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions. Required add-on licenses vary by agent type.
            User Permissions Needed
            To manage MCP server registrations: Manage AI Agents AND the required permissions for your agent type

            Before you remove access to a tool in your server registration, remove the associated agent agent action from all subagents and agents and delete the it from the asset library.

            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Agentforce, and then select Agentforce Registry.
            2. Click the name of the server that you want to edit, and then on the Tools tab, click Edit Tools.
            3. Add or remove server tools.
              Only allow tools you trust. Before allowlisting, carefully review tool names and descriptions to ensure you understand their function and scope. If you see a warning that one or more tool descriptions contain bidirectional or decorative Unicode characters, invisible characters, or multiple languages or scripts, these tools are considered high risk. Before allowlisting, copy and paste the tool descriptions into a text editor and manually review them.
            4. Save your changes.
