          Author Prompt Templates with the Block Editor (Beta)

          Author prompt templates using the visual Block Editor interface for structured, easy-to-manage prompts.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Einstein for Platform, or Einstein or Agentforce for Sales or Service add-on, or Agentforce Foundations
          User Permissions Needed
          To create and manage prompt templates in Prompt Builder:

          Prompt Template Manager permission set

          • Manage Prompt Templates
          • Execute Prompt Templates

          OR

          Customize Application permission set

          To enable the block editor, follow these steps.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Prompt Builder Settings.
          2. Turn on the Conditional Logic for Prompt Templates (Beta) toggle.

          Create a prompt template with blocks.

          1. From Prompt Builder, click New Prompt Template. The Block Editor opens with an empty text block.
          2. Type content directly, or use the slash command (/) to insert structured blocks.
          3. To insert merge fields from grounded resources, type @.
          4. To navigate between blocks, use the up and down arrow keys.
          5. Copy and paste content as needed.
