          Enable Open Response Language for Prompt Templates

          Use the Automatic toggle to allow the LLM to interpret language directly from your prompt instructions instead of using system-managed language selection.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Einstein for Platform, or Einstein or Agentforce for Sales or Service add-on, or Agentforce Foundations
          User Permissions Needed
          To create and manage prompt templates in Prompt Builder:

          Prompt Template Manager permission set

          • Manage Prompt Templates
          • Execute Prompt Templates

          OR

          Customize Application permission set

          1. In Setup, enter Prompt Builder in the Quick Find box, then select Prompt Builder.
          2. Select an existing prompt template or create a new one.
          3. In the Prompt Template Workspace, click the Template Settings icon.
          4. Scroll to the Response section.
          5. Find the Automatic toggle.
          6. Disable the Automatic toggle to enable Open Response Language mode.
          7. Click Save & Preview.
