Start the Extend Flow and Select a Semantic Model to Extend (Beta)
Start the CRM Analytics Metadata Bridge, choose to extend an existing semantic model, and select the C360 semantic model to use as the base.
Start the CRM Analytics Metadata Bridge Flow
Open the CRM Analytics Metadata Bridge from Setup to start extending an existing semantic model.
Note This feature is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at
Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by
Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta
service is at the Customer’s sole discretion.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Metadata, and then select CRM Analytics Metadata Bridge.
- Click Start Setup.

In the Set Up Your Semantic Model dialog, select
Extend an Existing Semantic Model, and then click
Next Step.
Select a Semantic Model to Extend
Select the C360 semantic model to extend with data from your CRM Analytics dashboards.

Select the Source Data Space that contains the semantic model
you want to extend.
The bridge lists the semantic models available in the selected data space.

Select the semantic model to extend, and then click
Next.
Only C360 semantic models are supported for extension.
The bridge shows the base semantic model and source data space at the top of each subsequent step.
Next, complete the steps in the order listed:
- Select the CRM Analytics dashboards that contain the data for your semantic model. This step is the same as the Review and Select Source Dashboards step in the new semantic model generation flow.
- Select the recipes and dataflows associated with your selected CRM Analytics dashboards. This step is the same as the Review Data Recipes and Dataflows step in the new semantic model generation flow.
- Review Objects in the Base Semantic Model (Beta)
