Start the CRM Analytics Metadata Bridge and Select Your Data

Start the CRM Analytics Metadata Bridge to select your CRM Analytics dashboards from the populated list to find the recipes and dataflows to use for semantic model generation.

Start the CRM Analytics Metadata Bridge Flow

Open the CRM Analytics Metadata Bridge from Setup to create a new semantic model.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Metadata, then select CRM Analytics Metadata Bridge.
  2. Click Start Setup.

  3. Select Generate New Semantic Model.

    Selecting a new semantic model goes directly to reviewing your dashboards, while extending an existing model prompts you to select the target model before reviewing dashboards.

Review and Select Source Dashboards

After selecting the semantic model type, review and confirm the dashboards to use as data sources.

  1. Select the Data Space to use when the bridge creates data objects.
  2. In Review and Select Source Dashboards, review the pre-selected CRM Analytics dashboards.
    The bridge uses these dashboards to determine which recipes, dataflows, and data objects to include.
  3. Deselect any dashboards that you don't want to include, or use Add More Dashboards to add more.
  4. Click Next.

Review Data Recipes and Dataflows

Review and confirm the recipes and dataflows the bridge extracted from your selected dashboards to use for data lake object creation.

  1. Review the recipes and dataflows listed on the Review and Select Data Recipes and Dataflows page.
    The bridge created this list from the dashboards that you selected in the previous step.
  2. Deselect any data sources that you don't want to use for data lake mapping, or use Add More Recipes and Dataflows to add more.
  3. Click Next.
