Generate Your Semantic Model
Name your semantic model, associate it with a Tableau Next workspace, and generate it from your mapped data objects.
For semantic model extensions, the bridge pre-fills the name, API name, and workspace details.
- Enter a Semantic Model Name and Semantic Model API Name.
- Select the Tableau Next Workspace to assign to the semantic model.
- Enter a Semantic Model Description.
- Under Included Data Model Objects, review the data model objects and fields the bridge includes.
- Click Generate Semantic Model.
After the bridge generates the semantic model, a success message shows the semantic model name. To open it in the Semantic Model Builder, click View Model. For more information on working with semantic models, see Structure Data within a Semantic Model.
