Segment Gap and Segment Border

Add visual separation between adjacent chart segments to improve readability and help your charts meet accessibility contrast standards.

Segment Gap adds spacing between adjacent segments in a chart. Segment Border adds a colored border around each segment. Together or on their own, these options increase the visual separation between segments and make charts easier to read. They also help your charts meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 non-text contrast requirements. Both options are available for bar, column, stacked bar, stacked column, funnel, and pie charts, in the dashboard designer and in the Formatter in Explorer mode.

Segment Gap and Segment Border both default to off, so your existing charts remain unchanged until you turn them on.
