Add and Delete Data Objects

Add Data Model Objects (DMOs), Data Lake Objects (DLOs), and Calculated Insight Objects (CIOs) from your org to a local model.

  1. Right-click dataObjects.json in your model folder and choose Add Data Objects.
  2. Browse the available DMOs, DLOs, and CIOs from your org.
  3. Select objects to add.
  4. Choose which dimensions and measurements to include for each object.

The extension appends the selected objects to your local model.

Remove Data Objects from a Model

Remove a data object from a local model and clean up any joins that reference it.

  1. Open dataObjects.json.
  2. Delete the object definition from the items array.
  3. Save the file.
  4. Update relationships.json to remove any joins referencing the deleted object.
