Tune the C360 Semantic Model for AI Readiness

Before rolling out Tableau Next assets to your team, first calibrate Tableau Agent responses with verified questions and business preferences.

Required Editions

Available in: All editions supported by Data 360. See Data 360 edition availability.

View the agent’s answers to commonly asked analytics questions to verify its accuracy. With your input, the agent can respond consistently and accurately to semantically similar questions.

  1. In Tableau Next, in the left pane, click Q&A Calibration.
  2. In the Semantic Model menu, select the C360 Semantic Model.
  3. The Q&A Calibration window has pre-populated questions for you to test against your data. All of the questions are initially classified as Needs Validation until you test them and change the classification.
  4. Correct inaccurate answers, remove irrelevant questions, and add your own questions.
  5. Some questions aren’t needed because they refer to objects in the C360 Semantic Model that your org doesn’t use. For questions you don’t want, open the menu in that row and select Delete.
  6. (Optional) The C360 Semantic Model business preferences define sales, service, and marketing terms to provide additional context for the agent. Business preferences help Tableau Agent to correctly assess business terms used in the standard Salesforce objects included in the C360 Semantic Model. To view the included business preferences, open the C360 Semantic Model, and from the AI Optimization menu select Manage Business Preferences. To add your own preferences, you need to extend the model.
