Tableau Semantics Licenses and Permissions
Tableau Semantics is available in several standard Salesforce editions and may require a license depending on your use.
- Tableau Semantics is currently available for Data 360 customers with all Data 360 editions.
- Tableau Plus customers need the TableauEinsteinPlatform license to use Tableau Semantics.
The Semantic Models permission set controls the semantic layer. It contains these permissions, which apply to both the platform and the API.
- Read: Allows users to view and read semantic models
- Create: Allows users to create semantic models
- Edit: Allows users to edit semantic models
- Delete: Allows users to delete semantic models
