Retrieve a Semantic Model from Your Org
Retrieve a semantic model from your org to edit it locally.

Run
Tableau Semantic: List Modelsin the Command Palette to view available models in your org. - In the Explorer panel, right-click the workspace folder where you want to store the model files.
- Select Tableau Semantic: Retrieve Model to Folder.
- From the list that appears, select the model you want to retrieve.
The extension creates a folder named after the model and downloads all model components as organized JSON files. For details on what's generated, see Semantic Model Folder Structure.
