Start the Extend Flow and Select Your Data (Beta)
Start the Reports Metadata Bridge, choose to extend an existing semantic model, and select the C360 semantic model to use as the base.
Note This feature is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at
Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by
Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at
the Customer’s sole discretion.
Start the Reports Metadata Bridge Flow
Open the Reports Metadata Bridge from Setup to start extending an existing semantic model.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Metadata, and then select Reports Metadata Bridge.
- Click Start Setup.

In the Set Up Your Semantic Model dialog, select
Extend an Existing Semantic Model, and then click
Next Step.
Select a Semantic Model to Extend
Select the C360 semantic model to extend with data from your Lightning Experience report types.

Select the Source Data Space that contains the semantic model
you want to extend.
The bridge lists the semantic models available in the selected data space.

Select the semantic model to extend, and then click
Next.
Only C360 semantic models are supported for extension.
The bridge shows the base semantic model and source data space at the top of each subsequent step.
Review and Select Source Reports
After selecting a semantic model, choose the report types whose data you want to include in your semantic model.

In Review and Select Source Reports, select the Lightning
Experience report types to use in your semantic model.
The bridge uses these report types to determine which data objects to include.
- Click Next.
