Currency Support in Data 360 Reports
Data 360 reports support the currency data type. Reporting behavior depends on whether the org uses a single currency or multiple currencies. Currency support works across Data Model Objects, Calculated Insights, and Semantic Data Models.

How a report renders currency depends on whether the org uses a single currency or multiple currencies. This topic covers both scenarios. To turn on multicurrency, see Enable Multiple Currencies.
How Currency Support Works in Single-Currency Orgs
A single-currency org uses one currency for all records. Data 360 reports show currency values with the org's currency symbol, such as $100. These reports don't add converted columns or currency code columns, because there's only one valid currency. Totals, sorting, filtering, and grouping use the corporate currency. There is no report currency.
How Currency Support Works in Multicurrency Orgs
In a multicurrency org, a report shows two columns for each currency field: the original column and a converted column. The converted column shows the value in the selected report currency. Totals, subtotals, sorting, filtering, and grouping use the converted value in the report currency.
Key Terms
- Corporate currency
- The main currency set by your admin for the whole company. It matches your headquarters' revenue reporting and acts as the base for all exchange rates.
- Conversion Rates
- The currency conversion rates between the corporate currency and the multiple currencies used by your organization. Your admin maintains these rates.
- Personal Currency
- The default currency tied to an individual user's personal settings. It determines how currency amounts show up in reports and quotes for that specific user.
- Active Currency
- A currency in which your organization does business. Only active currencies can be entered in opportunities, forecasts, and other items.
- Inactive Currency
- A currency that your organization no longer uses. You may have existing records that use inactive currencies, but you can’t enter new amounts using inactive currencies.
- Record currency
- A record currency is the specific currency assigned to an individual record (like an Opportunity or Account) when multiple currencies are enabled. It ensures that all currency fields on that specific record use the same currency type rather than forcing everything into the company's main corporate currency.
- Use Multiple Currencies in Data 360 Reports
Use a report currency to analyze data that contains currency values from multiple countries or business units. Convert currency fields to a single reporting currency so you can accurately compare, sort, filter, group, and summarize records in the same report. - Considerations for Currency Support in Data 360 Reports
Keep these considerations in mind when using multiple currencies in Data 360 reports.
