            Create an Analytics Group

            Analytics groups help manage your users’ access to assets in Tableau Next.

            Required Editions

            View supported editions.
            User Permissions Needed
            To create or edit an analytics group:

            Manage Users

            OR

            Tableau Unmetered Admin or Tableau Next Admin permission set
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Analytics Groups and select it.
            2. Select Create Group.
            3. For Label, enter the name used to refer to the group in the user interface. The API Name will populate based on what you enter in Label, but you can change it if you want.
            4. Add a relevant description.
            5. Select Create Group.
            6. Select Add Members.
            7. Choose and add users.
