            Required Editions

            • Set Up Data 360 for Tableau Next
              Set up Data 360 for Tableau Next to enable real-time data access and insights in your visualizations. Tableau Next requires Data 360 for data ingestion and data queries. Before setting up Tableau Next, configure Data 360 and create a Data Model Object for your org.
            • Enable Einstein Generative AI for Tableau Next
              Einstein Generative AI provides summaries and automated visuals in Tableau Next. Tableau requires Einstein generative AI and the Einstein Trust Layer to access AI features. You also need to turn on Einstein generative AI data collection to save feedback and auditing data.
            • Set Up Tableau Agent in Tableau Next
              Configure users, turn on organization features, and create and activate an agent for analytics and visualizations in Tableau Next.
            • Enable Tableau Next
              Turn on Tableau Next. This also assigns you a Data Cloud Architect and Tableau Unmetered Admin permission set.
