Create a Semantic Model with Semantic Modeler (Beta)
To create a semantic model, simply describe your analytic goals and business logic in natural language to the Semantic Modeler.

Semantic Modeler is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer’s sole discretion.
Method 1: Generate a Semantic Model Through Conversation with the Semantic Modeler
- Open your workspace.
- Click on the Agentforce icon on the top right corner. The Agentforce panel side panel opens.
- Select the deployed Semantic Modeler agent from your active assistants list.
- In the prompt input field, type a clear description of your analytic goals and business logic. For example: "Create a semantic model to track store performance analysis and quarterly revenue data across our retail locations".
- Press enter or click Submit to start generating the semantic model.

Semantic Modeler shows the relevant data objects it recommends adding to the model.
- Click Review to open the list of available data objects. You can change the selections if needed by checking or unchecking items. When you’re ready, click Continue to return to your conversation with Semantic Modeler.
- Click Continue to create the semantic model with the suggested data objects.
- Click Ignore to cancel the generation.
- Semantic Modeler runs in a new tab, while you can continue working in your workspace. It automatically adds the required relationships and calculated field formulas to the model while generating it.
- Semantic Modeler notifies you in the Agentforce panel that it’s done and shows a summary of the semantic definition added to the new model. The finished model is ready for use and is added directly to your semantic models list.
Method 2: Generate a Semantic Model with a Single Prompt
- From your active user workspace, click Add and select Semantic Model.
- In the configuration window and select From Data Object .
- Click Generate with Data Pro to expand the description field.
- Describe your business requirements and analytic goals in natural language. For example: "Build a model for order management details".
- Click Suggest Data Objects (marked with the double-spark icon).
- Review the list of available data objects. You can change the selections if needed by checking or unchecking items. Click Show Selected to clear the list of data objects that aren’t selected. You can can also click Clear Selection to start selecting from scratch. Click Suggest Data Objects again to reset the list to Semantic Modeler’s original recommendations and undo your changes.
- Click Create. Semantic Modeler runs in a new tab, while you can continue working in your workspace. It automatically adds the required relationships and calculated field formulas to the model while generating it.
- Semantic Modeler notifies you in the Agentforce panel that it’s done and shows the details of the new model. The finished model is also added directly to your semantic models list.
