Filter a Metric in Tableau Next

By adding filters to a metric in Tableau Next, you’re able to focus on the data that is most important to you.

User Permissions Needed
To filter metrics:	Tableau Unmetered Consumer or Tableau Next Consumer or Tableau Unmetered Self-Service Consumer or Tableau Next Self-Service Consumer permission set

Log in to Tableau Next.
Click the metric's name to open the actions menu on a metric card.
Select Explore and Filter.
On the left side of the metric page, apply filters to show the data that's most important to you.
Choose Apply.
