Configure Shopper Sort Options for Agentic Commerce Search

Configure Shopper Sort Options for Agentic Commerce Search

Customize sort options for shoppers in Agentic Commerce Search for B2C Commerce, including display names, sort order, and the default sort for categories.

Turn on Agentic Commerce Search before you configure sort options. See Set Up Agentic Commerce Search.

Agentic Commerce Search replaces your native B2C Commerce sort rules. It provides three built-in sort options: AI-Driven Relevance, Price: High to Low, and Price: Low to High. You configure which options appear in the storefront sort menu, customize their display names, and set the default order. Shopper sort selections override all merchandising rules, including product pin rules.

          Configure Sort Options

Customize the display names for sort options, set the default sort order, and remove options you don't want to appear in the storefront menu.

          1. Click App Launcher, then select Merchant Tools Agentic Commerce Search | Sorting Options.
          2. Click Add New Sorting Rule.
          3. Select the rule from the Sorting Rule dropdown. AI-Driven Relevance ranks products based on relevance and conversion likelihood. It's the default sort option and appears first until a shopper makes a selection.
          4. Enter a display name for the sorting option in the Display Name field.
          5. If you have multiple sorting rules, drag them to reorganize the default sort order.

          6. Save your changes.
          7. To remove a sort option from the storefront menu, delete it. To restore it, re-add it.

Update campaigns or A/B tests that referenced native B2C Commerce sort rules. Switch to AI-Driven Relevance, Price: High to Low, or Price: Low to High. Campaigns that still reference native sort rules don't function correctly after you turn on Agentic Commerce Search.

          Set the Category Default Sort

Update the default sort setting for each catalog category to use one of the Agentic Commerce Search sort options.

          2. Select the catalog associated with the site.
          3. Click the catalog ID or name.
          4. Select a category name or ID.
          5. Click Edit.
          6. Click the Sorting Rule tab.
          7. Select a sort option from the Default Sorting Rule menu.
