Visually Arrange Product Placement in Agentic Commerce Search

The Visual Merchandiser in Agentic Commerce Search for B2C Commerce shows a live product grid for a specific query or category. Use it to pin, arrange, or hide products in a result set without writing a merchandising rule.

For sitewide or recurring adjustments, use a merchandising rule instead. See Merchandising Rules in Agentic Commerce Search.

  1. Click App Launcher, then select Merchant Tools | Agentic Commerce Search Merchandising Rules.
Alternatively, click App Launcher App Launcher, and then select Agentic Commerce Search.
  2. From the upper-right dropdown menu, select Rules.
  3. Click Create Rule and then select Visual Merchandiser.
  4. Specify the query or category that you want to configure. The product grid loads with the result set.
  5. Visually adjust the products in the grid. To apply an action to multiple products at one time, select each product you want to include and then select the action.
  6. To reorder a product, drag it to a new position.
  7. To pin a product to a fixed position, select the product and click Pin. A Pinned product stays in place even when catalog data, inventory levels, or AI ranking signals change. Use pins for promotional placements or featured items tied to a campaign.
  8. To hide a product from results, select the product and click Hide.
  9. To add a product that doesn't currently appear in the result set, or to restore hidden products, enter the name or product ID under Add Products.
  10. To review and restore hidden products, click Hidden under Manage Products. Select a product and click Unhide to return it to the grid. Reposition it in the grid as needed.
  11. Click Save Rule. Changes take effect immediately in search and browse results.

Visual Merchandiser changes appear in the Rules Dashboard under the Visual Merchandising filter. When you create a rule for the same query or category, check that its priority and actions don't conflict with your Visual Merchandiser arrangement. See Merchandising Rules in Agentic Commerce Search.
