Assign Merchant Agent Roles and Permissions
In Business Manager, configure user roles and permissions that can access the B2C Merchant Agent features. The feature requires a single permission, BM_Agentforce_Org, which is assignable to any role.
Create a specific role, such as Merchant Agent User, and assign it only to users who rely on Agentforce capabilities. Limiting who has the user role follows the least-privilege security model, and makes auditing Agentforce access easier.
- In Business Manager, go to .
- Create a role or select an existing role to grant Merchant Agent access.
- (Optional) Provide a descriptive name for the role, such as Merchant Agent User, and click Apply.
- Select the Functional Permissions tab, and in the Select Context window, select Organization, then click Apply.
- Find and select BM_Agentforce_Org.
- Click Update.

Assign the new role to users.
- Go to .
- Select the user to grant access.
- Assign the role with the BM_Agentforce_Org permission.
- Save your changes.
