          Edit a Content Block

          Edit a Content Block

Edit a content block's components, attributes, or styling in Page Designer. Changes apply everywhere the content block is used across your storefront.

          Required Editions

          Available in: B2C Commerce

To edit content blocks, your role must include the Manage_All_Libraries functional permission in the organization context, or Manage_Site_Library in the context of the site.

When you edit a content block, the changes take effect in every storefront location where the content block appears. Before editing a content block used in multiple locations, review its usage to understand the scope of the change. See View Content Block Usage and References.

          1. In Page Designer, open a page containing the content block.
          2. Select the content block.
Content blocks appear with a purple highlight border and a special icon to distinguish them from regular components. The right pane shows the content block's attributes with a banner reminding you that changes apply everywhere the content block is used.
          3. Make your changes.
Change component attributes such as text, images, and links; update styling properties such as padding, alignment, and colors; add or remove components; and rearrange the order of components within the layout.
          4. Click Save.

Your changes apply to all storefront locations where the content block appears.
