Products Gift Certificate Dashboard
Use the Gift Certificate dashboard to analyze how your B2C Commerce site generates revenue through gift certificate sales.
The dashboard shows gift certificate purchases and redemption metrics. The metrics give you insights about the revenue generated through gift certificate sales revenue, average sales value, the number of redemptions, redemption value, and the number of activations within an amount range. To launch the dashboard, on the Products dashboard select the Gift Certificates tab.
Activations
Activations are the number of gift certificates activated during the time period. With the report, monitor activation history and evaluate activation peaks and valleys. Use the data to improve activation revenue. For example, plan a gift card promotion for a period when activations are historically low.
Gift Certificate Revenue
This report plots the revenue from gift certificate sales. Use this date to track revenue trends and compare revenue to other metrics. For example, Low revenue and high activation rates over the same period indicates a tendency for customers to activate gift certificates with a low value.
Average Gift Certificate Value
This report plots the average value of gift certificates sold.
Redemptions
This report plots the value of redeemed gift certificates. The value of redeemed gift certificates is useful in a number of assessments. For example, get an insight to the rate of gift certificate redemption. Though the metrics aren't a one-to-one comparison, compare redemptions with data from the average value of gift certificates sold report.
Number of Redemptions
This report plots the number gift certificate redemptions over the time period.
Certificate Activations by Amount
The report data shows in realm currency. The chart shows total gift certificate activations for a currency range. For example, review gift certificates of $25.00 to $49.99. The graph shows the distribution among currency ranges. Hover over a graph bar to see the number of gift certificate activations for a currency range.
