You are here:
Import Feeds
To import active data into other instances, upload it in the production instance and then import it into another instance.
To import a feed, you must have first created a feed definition and a feed file.
Before importing, make sure that:
- Active Data tracking is enabled for your site.
- Products exist in PalDB. Make sure products have PalDB entries (created through customer activity when tracking is enabled) before importing custom attributes.
You can also automate the feed import.
Data Loss Risk: Active Data feed imports use REPLACE mode. Attributes not included in your feed file are permanently deleted. Always verify that your feed file contains all attributes you want to retain.
For more information, see Import Modes in B2C Commerce.
