Set Up Shopper Consents for B2C Commerce
Add consent requests to your site to capture shopper emails and grow your marketing campaigns. Consent requests consume Data 360 credits. Contact your account executive to learn more about credit usage.
Before you set up consents, make sure that you’ve completed the prerequisites. See Prerequisites for B2C Commerce with Agentforce Marketing.
- Set Up a SLAS Client for Shopper Consents on PWA Storefront
If you have a PWA storefront, set up a Shopper Login and API Access Service (SLAS) client for your B2C Commerce instance to request access tokens. - Define the Channels to Capture Shopper Consent
In Salesforce, select the channel types that you want to use to send notifications to shoppers, such as email, SMS, or WhatsApp. To use an engagement channel, create an attribute definition in your B2C Commerce instance and map it to the channel’s Salesforce record ID. - Create a Shopper Consent
Directly connect with your shoppers by getting permission to send marketing communications according to the terms that you outline in the consent request. - Enable or Disable a Consent
After you enable a consent, it appears on your site in the consent components that you’ve configured. - Display a Shopper Consent on a PWA or SFRA Storefront
You can display shopper consents in the marketing consent footer component of a Progressive Web App (PWA) site or the footer and registration components of a Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) site.
