Search Index General Page for B2C Commerce
The General page for a B2C Commerce search index reports the overall health and settings of the index.
Index Summary
- Indexed Elements – Number of indexed elements.
- Index Size – Size of the index on disk.
- Index Version – Date and time the active index was built.
- Indexer Version – Version of the indexer used.
- Index Location – Where the index is stored.
- Index Open Since – When the current index version was loaded.
Index Settings
- Scheduled Index Rebuild – Whether the index is rebuilt on a schedule (full rebuild).
- Incremental Index Updates – Whether product changes are applied to the index incrementally between full rebuilds.
- Indexing Mode – Determines how much data the index stores.
- Compact - Production – The index stores only the data needed to serve search and omits additional field data to keep the index lean. Use this mode for production instances.
- Verbose - Development – The index stores extra field data so you can inspect indexed elements and troubleshoot search results. Use this mode for sandbox or development instances.
Index History
- Duration of Last Index Rebuild – How long the most recent index build took.
- Available Index Versions – Previous index versions by date, time, and size. To reactivate a prior version, select it and apply your changes.
