B2C Shopper Agent Limitations
Review these limits and allowances of the B2C Shopper Agent.
- You can have up to 100 active agents and, within that 100, have one version of the default Agentforce agent. Active Einstein bots count towards the limit of active agents. See Activate or Deactivate your Agent.
- You can have a single agent and create up to 20 versions of that agent, but only one version can be active at a time. If you’ve reached the limit, delete older versions before cloning new ones.
- Incoming customer messages can't exceed the character limits of the messaging channel. If it does, the channel doesn't deliver the message, and there's no response. Different messaging channels have different character limits.
- Agent responses are optimized only for the Agentforce Commerce Client.
- The Agentforce Commerce Client, the agent's messaging service, closes the chat session after two hours of shopper inactivity, per Salesforce's platform limits (Service Agent Limits). This inactivity limit is fixed. If a shopper returns after two hours, the chat window shows the welcome message, with no memory of the earlier chat.
The Shopper Agent for B2C Commerce uses the Agentforce Service agent type. Review that agent type's limitations in Considerations for Agentforce Service Agent.
