Call a Pipeline Start Node with a Source Code from a URL for B2C Commerce
To start a process at a B2C Commerce storefront, call a pipeline start node from a
URL. If a source code is valid, this URL navigates the customer to one of two destinations. A
valid source code must be enabled. This feature applies to B2C Commerce.
Required Editions
Available in: B2C Commerce
From SourceCodeRedirect-Start:
If the customer arrives at the storefront before the source
code expires, the product page opens. The source code selects a
price book.
If the customer arrives at the storefront after the source
code expired, the category page opens.
To redirect from the URL, click App Launcher , and then select site | Merchant Tools | Online Marketing | Source Code Groups.
Click Find to view the list of source code groups.
Open the selected source code group, and click the Codes
tab.
On the Codes tab, enter SpringSale into the Source-Code
Specification field, and click Add.
On the Redirects tab, select Active: Product.
Using the browse button, locate and select the product page you
want to show.
Select Inactive: Category.
Click the category page you want to show then click
Apply.
Click App Launcher , and then select site | Merchant Tools | Online Marketing | Source Code Groups.
To find the source code, click Find, or enter a source
code name.
Click a source code group name.
On the Price Books tab, enter or browse to the price book you want to use.
Click Add.
Click App Launcher , and then select site | Site Preferences | Source-Codes, enter
src into the URL Parameter Name control. Click
Apply.
Click App Launcher , and then select site | SEO | Aliases, enter www.yourstore.com and click
Save.
Click App Launcher , and then select site | Online Marketing | Source-Code Groups | General.
