          Continuous Order Capture for Omnichannel Inventory with Salesforce Order Management

          B2C Commerce Continuous Order Capture holds orders in a Reservation Missing state to prevent incomplete data from reaching Salesforce Order Management. After the Omnichannel Inventory service recovers, the system automatically reconciles the inventory and clears this Reservation Missing state. All orders are then pushed to Salesforce Order Management, even if they’re flagged as oversold due to partial or failed reservations.

          View Orders Captured During Omnichannel Inventory Downtime

          To monitor the progress after reconciliation, you can view and track the B2C Commerce Continuous Order Capture orders captured during the Omnichannel Inventory offline mode.

          1. Go to Business Manager | Ordering | Orders.
          2. Click the Advanced Search tab.
          3. Set the Integration State filter to Reservation Missing.
          4. To view the history, click an order and then click the History tab.

          Orders with the prefix Continuous Order Capture indicate offline, reserved, and partial or failed orders.
