Enhance eCDN Settings for Clearer Certificate Management
The Business Manager eCDN Settings page is improved to clearly distinguish between hostnames with and without custom hostname certificates, reducing customer confusion and improving usability.
How: In Business Manager, select . Then select the Granular Replication feature switch.
Why: The update addresses the common issue of customers being unsure about the need to upload custom hostname certificates. By clearly indicating the status of each hostname, users can manage their eCDN settings more effectively and avoid unnecessary steps.
How: Administrators and users can access the updated eCDN settings page in Business Manager. The new columns displays the status of each hostname and its certificate, making it easier to identify which hostnames require custom certificates.
New Columns
- Hostname Status: This column displays the status of the hostname.
- Certificate Status: This column displays the status of the custom hostname certificate.
Status Indicators
- Active: The hostname will be marked as "Active" only if there is a custom hostname certificate uploaded and verified.
- Other Statuses: The columns will reflect the appropriate status based on the presence and verification of the custom hostname certificate
Production, Staging, and Development BM Configurable
- New Status and Expires On columns show for proxy zones only. These columns show the certificate and hostname status for the current hostnames.
- The Remove Zone button appears in production BM for legacy zones that have completed the legacy to proxy zone migration. In staging and development BM, the button is labeled Migration Completed.
- A duplicate hostnames bug is resolved when a hostname is added to multiple Sites Aliases files.
