Optimize On-Demand Sandbox Resource Management with the Usage Dashboard

Take control of your on-demand sandbox (ODS) resource consumption with the Control Center Usage Dashboard now available for ODS administrators. This feature offers a comprehensive graphical overview of sandbox usage and credit spending over selectable time frames–daily, weekly, or monthly. Use the dashboard to make informed decisions about resource distribution and budget forecasts.

How: This enhancement includes these updates:

• The Realm Usage bar chart now displays minutes and credits consumed (up or down) by realm, providing you with a clear overview of your consumption and allowing for greater flexibility and customization.
• Three granularity levels are now available: daily, weekly, and monthly, catering to different reporting needs.
• A daily view is shown for the past 30 days, giving you a detailed look at recent activity.
• A weekly view is available for date ranges up to one year, providing a broader perspective on usage trends.
• The monthly view is always accessible, offering a high-level overview of consumption over longer periods.
• You can switch between granularity levels. Only one level can be selected at a time to ensure clarity in reporting.
• The chart automatically updates based on the selected granularity and date range, making it easy to track changes in consumption.

To ensure that the chart reflects the most up-to-date information, click Apply when you change the date range.
