The store is where shoppers and buyers go to view, select, and purchase your products. We provide the Commerce Store template to get you started creating B2B stores.

Which Salesforce Commerce Product Do I Have?

          • Commerce Store Setup Tasks
To get your store running, complete the guided tasks on the store home page. You can complete the recommended tasks after you activate your store.
          • B2B Store Setup Considerations
The Commerce Setup Assistant and the Store Setup Assistant work together to create a guided path for store creation. This path is simplified to get you up and selling as fast as possible. However, you can customize a store for your specific needs by configuring locales, languages, and currencies. If you haven’t configured these before creating your store, only the default options configured for your Salesforce org show. You can update these values after creating your store.
          • Enable State and Country Picklists for B2B Commerce Stores
Stores based on the LWR (Lighting Web Runtime) template accept only two-digit ISO codes for country and state or province. To minimize user entry errors, we recommend enabling state and country picklists, so that users select values from a list instead of typing them in. The picklists ensure that two-digit ISO codes are used consistently throughout the entire organization.
          • Sharing Settings for a Commerce Reorder Portal
When a rep invites a contact to a reorder portal, the action creates order summary records for the context order and the past year of order records associated with the contact. Make sure that both the sales rep and reorder portal buyer have read access to these order summary records.
          • Configure an Einstein Next Best Action Component for a Commerce Reorder Portal
After you set up a Commerce Reorder Portal, configure an Einstein Next Best Action component on the Order record page. Based on a recommendation from this component, a rep can invite a buyer to the portal.
          • Add a B2B Store to an Existing Experience Cloud Site
Reuse your Exprerience Cloud site’s domain, settings, branding, and styling to maintain a consistent look and feel. The site template, pages, components, and navigation stay the same. After you add the store, you can design your commerce experience using your commerce pages and components.
          • Migrate a Nonenhanced LWR Commerce Store to a New Salesforce Org
Starting in Winter ’24, all new stores are built on enhanced LWR sites. If you have a store built on a nonenhanced LWR site, you can migrate that store to production or to another org.
