Enable Multiple Carts for B2B Buyers

Configure your store to allow buyers to organize their purchases into independent project-based carts. After the multiple cart feature is enabled in your store, use Experience Builder to add multiple cart management components to your store.

1. In the navigation sidebar, select a store from the Store dropdown.
2. Click Experience Builder.
3. Create a saved cart and customize the Product page to show a list of saved carts.
   1. In Experience Builder, from the Pages list, open the Product page.
   2. Select the Product Detail Purchase Options component on the page.

      If the component is not already added to the page, drag and drop the component from the Components list.

   3. Click the component and from the component property panel, expand Multiple Carts, and select Show Add to a Saved Cart.

      This selection enables buyers to create saved carts and add items to a specific saved cart from the Product Detail Page.

4. Customize the site to view a list of saved carts and navigate to any cart from the header.
   1. In Experience Builder, from the components panel of the Product page, if the component is not already added, drag the Multiple Carts Menu component to the header of the page.
   2. Click the component and select Show number of items in cart.
   3. From the dropdown list select whether you want to show the count of items in each cart or the number of unique products in each cart.
      
   4. Expand Mini Cart, and deselect Enable Mini Cart.
   5. Expand Multiple Carts, and select Show Cart Dropdown.

      This component shows the default cart and four most recently modified saved carts.

      
   6. Repeat the steps for Checkout and My Profile pages.
5. Manage the saved carts and select a saved cart as default.
   1. From the Pages list, select the Multiple Carts List page.
   2. If not already added, from the components panel, drag the Multiple Carts List component into the page.

      This component provides the interface for buyers to see their list of carts, create a cart, edit the cart name and description, set a saved cart as default for the checkout, and delete a saved cart.

      
6. View and modify the details of each saved cart.
   1. From the Pages list, open the Multiple Carts Detail page.
   2. If not already added, from the components panel, drag the Multiple Carts Detail component into the page.

      This component provides buyers with the option to create a cart, provides a summary of each cart, and the options to edit quantities and delete items.

7. Preview the site as a buyer to ensure your store correctly displays the saved carts.
8. Publish your store.
